Over 65 million Americans are impacted my bullying in the workplace. According to the Workplace Bullying Institute (WBI) 60% of targets are women. The WBI defines workplace bullying as repeated mistreatment and abusive conduct, which includes threatening, intimidating, humiliating, work sabotage and verbal abuse.

As a former target of bullying I endured strategic sabotage and undermining on projects.  At times I was alienated because I refused to succomb to the school yard tactics of co-workers.  However, I sought the help of God and was able to develop winning strategies to overcome the bullying.  Isaiah 59:19b states, "When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him." (KJV)

As Christian women, we have the tools to overcome the devices of the enemy who does his bidding through others.  Ephesians 6:12 states, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickness in high places." (KJV)
