Servant or Self-Serving
by Angeline Lawrence
Today I want to pose a
question to the women (and men) of faith that are in the trenches for Christ.
Do you need a title and/or acknowledgement from others to fulfill the ministry
God has placed in your life? I must
confess that for years I hesitated to work in my ministry because I
believed I needed a formal title. I was
given a wakeup call by God one day that changed my life. He let me know, through the Holy Spirit, that
I did not need title. I only needed him.
Jesus, again, serves as
the high standard of faith. He was consumed with completing the mission of God,
but did it with humility. Listen in as I
discuss Philippians 2:7 regarding the way we should serve God. Are we his
servants or are we just self-serving?
Thanks again for listening.

Year in Review
2014 was a tremendous
year of growth and new opportunity for many of us. It is no surprise that the #1 downloaded episode
of the year was about Leadership. The ability to motivate and connect with others
is a priceless skill. Some of individuals are born to be lead, while others are
groomed.
One of our greatest
examples is the true servant-leader Jesus Christ. Humility is one of the most important
ingredients for outstanding leadership. Download the episode and listen as I
discuss the characteristics of great leadership.
I have a special offer for Shine and Grind
listeners for the pre-sell of my book, "The Working Women's
Guide to Winning: Defeat Satan at His Own Game with Integrity” that will be
published in 2015. Enjoy a 20% discount off the pre-sell price of $12.99. The book will provide more strategies for overcoming

How deep is Your Love?
By: Angeline Lawrence
The
love that Christ has for us is immeasurable. However, we must show Him the depth
of our love through the sacrifices we make in our lives. Matthew
10:38, states, “And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is
not worthy of me.” (KJV) All of Christ’s
followers had to prove they could love him more than anything, including money,
possessions and ultimately family. We must be willing to lose our current lifestyle, and sometimes friends and family to truly walk with Christ.
Listen in as I talk about loving Christ above all things in our lives. We must stay focused by eliminating distractions that will side track us from following Christ.
Thank you again for listening. If you are

steps to position yourself to hear the voice of God in your spirit.

Walking out the God given vision can be overwhelming if we try to do everything alone. As his vessels we must follow the four basic steps outlined in Psalms 37:3-5 to see the manifestation of the desires of our heart.
Be encouraged, because as you walk out your vision, know that God is with you. We must seek his guidence at every turn in order to make the "divine-connections" needed to succeed. Listen to today's episode and allow the message to push you a little farther along your journey.
Don't forget, leave us your thoughts and comments. We would love to hear from you.
