Change Your Mindset
By: Angeline Lawrence
Our mindset determines our success in walking
with Christ. If we allow a negative and
self-willed mindset to determine our actions then we are in serious
trouble. Obtaining the mind of Christ is
not a task, but a process. Check out the latest episode as I discuss the
scripture in Philippians 4:7 which states, “And the peace of God,
which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in
Christ Jesus.” (NIV)

Love Your Enemies
by: Angeline Lawrence, Host
Being on the receiving
end of taunts and bullying can be detrimental to our physical, mental and spiritual
well-being. As Christians, many of us
were not built to give great comebacks when insulted. Christ taught his disciples to love everyone,
especially their enemies because he held them to a higher standard of
righteousness.
Matthew 5:44 states, “But I tell you, love
your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,” (NIV) Christ taught them that true faith in God was
more than the observance of laws and ordinances. Christ emphasized the importance of
displaying the same characteristics of compassion, equity and virtue as the Creator. The ability to pray for
individuals who work against us embodies great strength and righteousness. Our Creator bestows His love and blessings
upon everyone, even individuals that do not obey His Word. We must learn to love the people that hate
us.
In honor of one of the
greatest civil rights leaders in the history of America, Dr. Martin Luther King
Jr. stated, “Love
is the only force capable of transforming an enemy into friend.”

Rejecting Disruptive People
by: Angeline Lawrence, Host
Walking with
God can be a lonely path at times. I know God will never leave us, but having a
brother/sister in the faith we can relate to is priceless. Occasionally, we will connect to other
believers that seem to be our friends, but in reality they are more like “Frenemies”
who seek to gossip about us.
Today, I want
to talk about rejecting individuals that are self-serving trouble makers. We can all identify with the “busy body,” who
will chase the sincere believers away because of the confusion they cause.
II Thessalonians 3:6 states,
“In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we command you, brothers and sisters, to
keep away from every believer who is idle and disruptive and does not live
according to the teaching you received from us.” (NIV) Oftentimes, letting go of close relationships
can be difficult. Especially when it is a person that you consider to be a
friend. However, it is important to stay clear of individuals who keep up
confusion. They are not about working on our Father’s business because they are
prying in the business of others.

Overcoming Fear
Angeline Lawrence, Host
In past episodes, I
discussed the love God has for us. If that love is strong and without any fear,
then we are unstoppable. Fear is defined
as an
unpleasant often strong emotion caused by anticipation or awareness of danger. It does
not have to be an actual threat, but our anticipation of a threat. Fear can paralyze us and hinder our faith walk.
We must overcome the fear to show that we’ll
obey the voice of God regardless of the situation. Ultimately, our love for
God is shown through obedience to Him.
Yes, we may naturally
have concerns when God is taking us through an experience in our lives that is
new. Yet, we must obey his Word and follow his voice so that our love is perfect.
I John 4:18 “There
is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do
with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.” (NIV)
Listen in as I discuss
overcoming fear.

Year in Review
2014 was a tremendous
year of growth and new opportunity for many of us. It is no surprise that the #1 downloaded episode
of the year was about Leadership. The ability to motivate and connect with others
is a priceless skill. Some of individuals are born to be lead, while others are
groomed.
One of our greatest
examples is the true servant-leader Jesus Christ. Humility is one of the most important
ingredients for outstanding leadership. Download the episode and listen as I
discuss the characteristics of great leadership.
