No Greater Love
By: Angeline Lawrence
Christ showed
us His love with the personal sacrifice He made on Calvary. John 15:13 states, “Greater love hath no man
than this that a man lay down his life for his friends.”(KJV) However, the love
of Christ did not end with that act. He continues to love us on an intimate
basis.
Today, on this
day of Thanksgiving, I want to discuss the intimacy that we can enjoy with
Christ. The Songs of Solomon 7:9 states, “And the roof of thy mouth like the
best wine for my beloved, that goeth down sweetly, causing the lips
of those that are asleep to speak.”
The
Song of Solomon chronicles the love of King Solomon and the Shulamite girl (His
Bride), but it also represents the love Christ has for His Bride, the Body of
Christ (the Church). His Holy Spirit is finer than the best wine. Once we receive
the Spirit of Truth, we are renewed and can fellowship with Christ.

Abiding in God’s Love
By: Angeline Lawrence
So many of us believe that we are not worthy of God’s love. We allow our
past mistakes to hold us hostage from experiencing the true love that God has
for us through Christ. John 15:9-10 lets us know that we can
abide in His love if we keep His words.
Listen as I discuss several steps to help us continue in the love and God.
We can be made complete in Christ if we work towards maintaining an intimate
relationship with Him.

Walking with God
By: Angeline Lawrence
Listening and talking to God can be comforting in our time of need.
However, walking with God will transform our lives. Psalms 23 is a familiar
passage that many of us learned as a child. However, the author provides a playbook
of how we should walk with God as mature Christians regardless of the conditions
we encounter.
Listen in as I talk about Psalms 23:3-4 and the lessons we can learn from
other biblical examples of how we should walk with God.

How to Talk with God - by Angeline Lawrence
Our communication with God does not have to be formal.
However, we must know how to effectively talk with God to get the help we need.
Hebrews 4:6 states, “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of Grace that
we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” (KJV)
I’ve learned the hard way that the wish list prayer does not
work. However, I will discuss five (5) steps to help you talk with God and move
him to respond. The ultimate goal is for us to have a relationship with God, which
allows us to communicate with him on a constant basis. (John 14:23)

How to Get a Return on Your Hard Work
By: Angeline Lawrence
The principal of sowing and reaping is a natural miracle in
agriculture that can be applied to our everyday lives. It’s also a biblical principle
that if we do good deeds for others, then we will receive a benefit from our
work within a certain time frame.
The Bible states in Ecclesiastes 3:1-2, “To everything
there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to
be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that
which is planted;”(KJV)
We must seek God about our seasons to sow and be diligent
to perform the tasks and activities that will position us to benefit from our
hard work. Comfort can be found in Galatians 6:9, which states, “And let us not
be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
Tune in while I discuss the concept of a Return on Sowing.

Resting from the Stress
The looming holiday season can add stress to our already
full schedules. Office parties, family dinners, school activities and the like
will heap an extra load on our shoulders.
Today, I want to prepare you for the extra pressure by discussing how we
can rest in the Love of Christ despite the flurry of activity occurring around
us.
Psalms 91:1 states, “He that dwelleth in the secret place
of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” (KJV) Christ will protect us from the stresses of
our daily life if we learn how to rest in Him. Listen in as I discuss some tips
to resting from the stress.
